Passage: James 1:2-4 Speaker: Pastor Lukus Counterman Series: Standalone Messages
Speaker: Lukus Counterman - Suffering is one of the few aspects of life that everyone gets a shot at. The question is not if you will face suffering and trials, the question is when. James 1:2 says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds…” When we face trials, God wants us to know how to respond. What is great about our text this morning is that it doesn’t just tell us how to respond, but it also explains why. God says, \"I want you to deal with trials this way, and here’s why.” Our prayer this morning is that God would give us faith to face trials with joy. May He apply His Word to the needs of our hearts.
