Passage: John 18:1-11 Speaker: Pastor Will Galkin Series: John - That You May Believe
Speaker: Will Galkin - After finishing the upper room discourse Jesus took His true disciples to place of refuge. Across the Valley of Kidron there was a garden that was within the jurisdiction of Jerusalem that Jesus would often retreat to. That night He and the disciples were betrayed. Roman soldiers and Jewish leaders were shown the way by Judas the traitor. The disciples’ world began to fall around them. All of their expectations of what they thought they knew about Jesus were in doubt. Yet, through it all Jesus was demonstrating that He was trustworthy and in control. Jesus is sovereign in the midst of betrayal, failures and weaknesses and suffering.
