Speaker: Will Galkin - It did not matter if Paul was present or absent he wanted the church of Philippi to reflect the great worth of the Gospel. Paul knew that if the church valued the Gospel they would stand with other faithful believer when opposed and advance the Gospel when needed. This commandment is needed today because just like some of those in Philippi many Christians fail to live worthy of the Gospel.
