Passage: Luke 15:1-32 Speaker: Pastor Jotham Manoranjan Series: The Parables of Jesus

Length: 52 mins 41 secs Plays: 260

Speaker: Jotham Manoranjan - When Mark Twain was asked, “Which story is the greatest story ever told?” He replied, “The Story of the Prodigal Son.” Today in our text of Luke 15 we will encounter this parable and try and mine some of the inexhaustible wealth buried in it. In Luke 15 we find three parables that Jesus narrates in response to the grumbling of the pharisees. The Pharisees fail to understand the nature of Jesus’ ministry. Through these three stories, we encounter the very heart of God towards those who are lost. The passage reveals the infinite compassion and love that God has for his Children. We will also see how this love is displayed to us in the person of Jesus Christ.
