Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In 2 Timothy 2, Paul is laying out his succession plan. He wants Timothy take what he’s learned and pass it on to future generations of spiritual leaders. The passage uses 6 points of imagery to describe church leaders. We looked at the character of the soldier, athlete, and farmer last time. This week Paul will emphasize the usefulness of Christian leaders as they embody the qualities of a proven worker, an honorable vessel, and a gentle servant. May the Lord raise up Christian leaders in our church who are usable for the Master’s work.
