In Daniel 7 we see a man of God who was similarly troubled by the beastly regimes of humanity. He was alarmed and anxious, so God gave him a vision that provided relative clarity about the sequence of events in the future, insight into the severity of persecution, but hope for the ultimate victory of the coming King. May the Lord stabilize our hearts as we look to the future, and may our gaze be fixed on our Sovereign King.
