In response to what he sees, he teaches two parables that present an opportunity for individuals to boost their social status. Jesus reminds us that “everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Exploring these parables, we will identify what humility is and how one pursues it. We will also see how genuine humility impacts our relationships.
