Christian Parenting (2025)
Parenting in today’s world can feel like navigating uncharted waters. With constant shifts in culture, conflicting philosophies, and countless voices competing for our children’s hearts and minds, how can we stay anchored in the truth of God’s Word? How do we raise children who are strong in faith, resilient in character, and prepared to face the challenges of life? In this class on Christian parenting, we’ll dive into what the Bible teaches about shaping our children through discipline and love (Prov 13:24; Eph 6:4), the role of intentional time and meaningful conversations (Deut 6:6-7), and how to guide their hearts toward purity and godliness in a culture filled with distractions (Phil 4:8; 1 Thess 4:3-5). We’ll explore practical ways to help our children understand their identity in Christ (Ps 139:14; 2 Cor 5:17) and cultivate character that reflects the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23). We’ll also discuss how to wisely navigate the challenges of technology and cultural influences (Rom 12:1) while preparing them to leave home as disciples of Jesus, equipped to live for His glory (Prov 22:6; Matt 28:19-20).
