Gospel Growth: Introduction

As Christians, we are not merely called to a higher standard than that of the world around us. We are called to the highest standard of all--the life of Christlikeness. A life impossible for us on our own, because it is the exact opposite of our sinful nature and desires. But, in 2 Peter 1, we find good news. God has provided everything we need both in His power and His promises for our gospel growth into Christlikeness. And at the end of it all, God has left an unimaginable reward for those willing and faithful in pursuing His plan with all their might.
